1. Always detangle before washing. Gently detangle the hair using your fingers or a wide-tooth comb, starting at the ends and working upward toward the roots. Avoid brushing the curls when dry to help preserve their natural pattern.

2. Use sulfate-free shampoo only. Gently cleanse the hair and the scalp-side interior of the wig, including the lace or cap area, using sulfate-free shampoo. Avoid vigorous rubbing or scrubbing that may disrupt the curl pattern.

3. Never apply conditioner to the scalp-side base of the wig. Keep conditioner away from the lace, knots, roots, and wig foundation to help prevent loosening and unnecessary shedding.

4. Condition from mid-shaft to ends only. Apply conditioner to the middle lengths and ends of the hair to maintain softness, moisture, and curl definition while minimizing product buildup near the wig foundation.

5. Rinse thoroughly. Use lukewarm water and rinse gently in the direction of the curls. Avoid rough handling or excessive manipulation.
